"Glicky at the edge of the Durgledank Forest" from "Circee and the Big Swim". This illustration shows Glicky just before Circee leaps out of the water to surprise him. Glicky, being just a little bit of a monster, is frightened of many things, but none so much as high places. This graphite work on illustration board later became the base layer of an acrylic painting.
