These characters are Uhu (on the left), Squiddy (center), and Katarn (on the right). Uhu is the physician of the group. She has a natural talent for cooking up potions and ointments and sometimes incorporates help from Hookil in researching ingredients. Squiddy has yet to appear in the Monster Island books but, as he was one of the first, I'm sure it is only a matter of time. Katarn is the loner of the group. He can usually be found tracking his way through the wilderness. Katarn is always terse and serious. He is the only monster to have visited the Durgledank Forest and returned to tell the tale. His large ears make him one of the best trackers in the group.
