These are images of some of the creatures from monster island. The first (left) is an ordinary hoak. They are not very bright and extremely violent The Hoaks tend towards the primative side, raiding and pillaging as they will. The other hoak (right) is a shaman. The hoaks born with lighter skin are traditionally shunned in normal hoak society. Most do not survive adolescence. Those that do often succeed through their higher intelligence, often learning magics and taking the traditional role of shaman.
